With a lot of content uploaded every day, and to detect harmful content at scale, we utilize a combination of people and machine intelligence. Machine learning is good at spotting patterns, allowing us to locate content that is similar to stuff we’ve already eliminated, even before it is viewed.
We also understand that the best method to delete information fast is to anticipate issues before they occur. Our Intelligence Desk keeps an eye on the news, social media, and user reports for emerging trends related to inappropriate content and strives to ensure that our teams are ready to address them before they become a bigger problem.
